Guiding clients to success with thoughtful guidance, compassion, careful planning, preparation and effective trial advocacy.
Amy’s clients benefit from more than a decade of courtroom and negotiation experience that allows her to distinguish realistic outcomes from empty promises. Known for her thoughtful preparation and steady advocacy, she guides families through the settlement process with clear, practical advice and ensures that, when trial becomes necessary, their evidence is presented with precision and care.
After earning her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 2009, Amy was admitted to the Delaware and Pennsylvania bars and selected to serve as a Judicial Law Clerk in Delaware, where she assisted the court with research and decision writing on a wide range of litigation issues. In 2013, she joined the Maine bar and began focusing her practice exclusively on family matters.
Since joining the firm in 2020, Amy has developed a passion for representing survivors of domestic abuse. She regularly sharpens her skills as a lawyer and advocate through specialized trainings and dedicates time each month to the Volunteer Lawyers Project as a domestic violence attorney. Her expertise in handling complex family cases has led colleagues to entrust her with their most challenging referrals and prompted invitations to speak on abuse litigation.
In 2025, Amy was invited to submit testimony to the Maine Supreme Judicial Court on how proposed rule changes could affect victims of domestic violence.
Whether in or out of court, Amy becomes a steady guide for her clients—carefully assessing evidence, clarifying goals, and crafting strategies that balance compassion with effective advocacy.
